Wolfgang Puck 8 Quart Stock Pot

A great pot for big batches
The title of this pot says it all: stockpot and soup. If you are in to large batches of soup, stock, chili and the like, you need a pot like this. I purchased this pot as a replacement for a stock pot that left me in a divorce (well, that is to say, my ex left and took the pot-- ;-) ) and I have been pretty satisfied with it ever since. It has a good heft to it--good quality, sturdy handles etc. without being really heavy and difficult to mange (especially when full). Heat distribution on the base is pretty even as far as I can tell--I have had no uneven burning or stuck on incidents. Its crowning glory is the glass top which allows you to see what is going on at a glance without lifting the lid and letting all the heat escape. I thought nothing of that at first as I just purchased this single pot since the price was right and I trusted the Wolfgang Puck name. The glass lid has now become my favorite feature and one I look for from now on when purchasing cookware--I love it. It makes...

Doesn't get any better than this stock pot
I lost my stock pot while moving, so I purchased another one. I thought I had an 8 quart pot, but it turns out, it holds 6 quarts. I absolutely love my new pot. It works better for me than the 6 quart pot, and it's beautiful. The handles are great....makes it so easy to pick up and move. Strangely enough, a week after my purchase, I found my other stock pot. Not to worry...they will be used or one of my girls will be lucky and get one. I recommend this stock pot. The glass lid is great. I am very glad I made this purchase. The price was really amazing, so thank you.
