Magic Chopper with Bonus Slicer

ripped off
I wish I had read some reviews before buying this product. It broke the third time I used it while trying to dice a half inch thick slice of onion. It worked nothing like as demonstrated on TV, which was no surprise, but even after managing to dice a couple of onions, the clean up took longer than it normally takes to dice an onion with a knife and cutting board. Save your money.

DISAPPOINTED
Good for tomatoes and celery.

Onions not so good. You have to remove most of the outter peel or it will jam.... The cleaning takes more time than the chopping. Only used a couple of times. With a good knife and cutting board, i chop quicker and no cleanup...

You gotta know what you're doing....
I didn't have any problem using this machine to dice onions and celery for Thanksgiving dressing. You have to use reasonably sized pieces of the vegetable you're trying to slice. I wouldn't attempt a whole onion at once. Also, you do have to put a fair amount of weight onto the center of the chopper above the vegetable to dice, but it does what it says it does. The slicer is great for fried squash!

Also, mushy vegetables are not an option here...only firm veggies work in this machine!
