Silit does not honor their warranty
The main selling point for me for this very expensive casserole was the 12 year warranty that accompanied this product. I expected the Siligran coating to last. It did not. Four months after I began using this casserole, the coating developed whitish stains. Although disappointing, I did not think this was a big deal. After all, the casserole will be covered by the warranty for years to come. This is when my struggle began.
If you're just interested in the short version of the story, it's next to impossible to get Silit to fix or replace items under the warranty.
And here is the long version: I've now been trying to get Silit to honor their 12 year warranty for five months. It took numerous emails and tracking people down just to get them to open a claim.
